Both the interior and exterior designs of Nagatacho Kurosawa make you feel like you are traveling back 200 years to life in the Edo Period. The restaurant is designed to evoke the image of actual samurai living and eating among the patrons.

Nagatacho Kurosawa is particularly famous for its Shabu-shabu, which is a combination of high-end Japanese black beef and Kurobuta (Japanese Black Berkshire pork), with homemade Soba (buckwheat) noodles, prepared by the traditional Japanese method.

Some of the Kurosawa family's dishes are also recreated by following the recipes of Kazuko Kurosawa, Akira Kurosawa's eldest daughter and known as the costume designer for his films.
